Time Lapse
There are many offerings on YouTube that show a time lapse in a short piece of film. Here are some of my favourites:
This film was created by Eirik Solheim, he captured footage throughout 2009 and cut it into just 90 seconds...
How to grow a beard, then a goatee, then a moustache...
In this video a man took a photo of his daughter everyday from her birth until she was 10 years old and cut it down into just 1min 25secs..
Then there's the disgusting but quite scientific route...
And the real footage of a man (who looks like a woman) trapped in a lift for a whopping 41 hours!!
And finally, Noah Kalina took a photo of himself everyday for 2356 days...

Novelty Shaped Shoes
I recently came across a shoe designer by the name of Kobi Levi. Levi graduated from the Bezalel academy of Art & Design (Jerusalem). He now specializes in footwear design. In the past 5 years he has collaborated with Skinsfootwear and is currently working on his own shoe line for men in Israel. Developed industrial footwear in both Italy, China and Brazil. His work is presented in various exhibitions in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Tokyo, Verona, St. Etienne and Berlin.
Kobi Levi: 'When I design a shoe I think about it as a sculpture to wear, an art piece you live with. You and your body affect its look and it affects yours. Footwear should have its life with and without being on the feet, on the contrary to cloths that exist only when being worn'.
(via The Virtual Shoe Museum )
I love the element of humour that he has brought to the humble high heel from banana shoes to children's slide...

Harry Potter
First of all - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
In addition, I have now been to see Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 twice. I think this is because I was so shocked at how good it was (in comparison to the last film offerings) that I couldn't believe my eyes and had to go back and see it again.
Emma Watson is mildly less annoying and Daniel Radcliffe makes an arse of himself by attempting to dance. Brilliant.
I am eagerly awaiting Part 2. If they cut out the "Not my daughter you bitch!" line from it I will be most upset.
For my fellow Potter fans, here is a lovely puppet show:
